Cosmetic
Facial Acupuncture
works by treating the internal cause
of disease and aging, with special
emphasis on rejuvenating and
revitalizing the face. While not a
replacement for surgery, it is an
excellent alternative that can take
years off one's face – safely and
naturally, while improving the
patient's overall health.
In
addition to her clinical work at
FirstHealth of Andover, Lisa is also
the Admissions Coordinator at the
New England School of Acupuncture.
In previous years, she has served as

Diana Edwards |
|
Diana Edwards,
BSC, LMT, BPT,
has always worked in the healthcare
field. She has been a
microbiologist, a dental hygienist,
a physical therapist, and most
recently a massage therapist.
Diana
was fortunate in having the
opportunity to study massage during
her training in physical therapy,
but as a physical therapist she
rarely was able to incorporate
massage into her daily schedule.
She
graduated from McGill University in
Montreal, Canada with a Bachelor's
degree in physical therapy. She has
worked in Canada as a physical
therapist for over 22 years. She
has taught anatomy at the university
level and is currently teaching
anatomy, physiology, pathology, and
kinesiology at a massage school in
Massachusetts.
Diana
recently became a massage therapist,
graduating from the Muscular Therapy
Institute in Cambridge,
Massachusetts and is nationally
certified as a massage therapist and
is a licensed massage therapist in
Andover. She is also a member of
the American Massage Therapist
Association.
She
has, in her several years of
experience as a physical therapist
and even more recently as a massage
therapist, broadened her educational
knowledge and expertise by taking
many courses including neuromuscular
therapy and CranioSacral therapy.
Diana
has three grown children. All have
graduated with under graduated
university degrees. Her first
daughter speaks six languages and
teaches German and English in
Japan. Her second daughter is
pursuing a law degree at Georgetown
University, and her son recently
graduated with a psychology degree
from the University of North
Carolina, Chapel Hill.
The
expansive scope of her clinical
experiences can most certainly aid
in her contribution of knowledge and
practice as a massage therapist.
Diana
is committed to making a positive
difference in people's lives, and
has always and still intends to
offer a very safe and extremely high
quality of care in her practice.

Amma Massage, which is the
predecessor to Shiatsu, caught her
attention through a friend who was
the instructor, and she took that
class at the North Eastern Institute
of Whole Health, Inc., Manchester,
NH. This year she is pursuing
certification in Transformational
Breath Work after having success in
controlling the beginnings of carpal
tunnel syndrome with the breath work

several years. Carole has also
participated in many personal growth
