My initial visit at FirstHealth was in mid-October of last year. This was a very frustrating time for me, 5 months from the time I was injured and I was still experiencing many more "valleys" than "peaks." My speech therapist and neurologist were doing the best that they could, but my wife and I were quite concerned about my lack of progress. When my nurse case manager told us that my employer suggested complementary therapies, we were so relieved and enormously grateful.

I can honestly say that my wife and I noticed the effect of the acupuncture and craniosacral immediately. I did not feel as "foggy" headed, my mental confusion and slow speech were improving along with many of the issues that I experienced since the brain injury. Over time, my word finding, memory, headaches, dizziness, cognitive function, fatigue, light sensitivity and balance issues (to mention a few) have greatly improved, and we strongly believe this is a direct result of the therapy I am receiving at FirstHealth of Andover.
