Studies
NIH Funded
Homeopathic studies
are being funded and compiled. The Natural Institute
of Health (NIH) has funded a study on homeopathic
use with mild brain injury-the findings of which
should be released this year. A study by Davidson,
Davidson, Mennison, Shore, and Bedyn has shown
promising data that suggests homeopathy may be
useful in the treatment of some patient's anxiety or
depression. Other studies on homeopathy include
Gibson, MacNiell double-blind clinical trial with
rheumatoid arthritis; Jacobs and Jimenez on acute
childhood diarrhea; and, Fisher, Greenwood, and
Huskisson on primary fibromyalgia.
The tide is turning,
folks--the weight of information that suggests a
trial of complementary medical approaches should be
enough to move those who truly wish to be helped.
