A Wellness Center for Health and Inspiration
My father sought out an acupuncturist in the mid 70’s seeking freedom of chronic pain from his persistent and debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis. It’s amazing when the pain that has kept you a prisoner or stolen your hope and imagination, is able to drop at least into the background of your thoughts, how an individual’s lifestyle will once again flourish. I witnessed the courage he and my mother displayed by exploring an unfamiliar therapy such as acupuncture. He was certainly a pioneer patient in this country to use acupuncture and their vision created another inspirational story. I’ve had the privilege of being part of many moments of freedom over my 25 plus years of practice as an acupuncturist.
I hold a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, am a licensed acupuncturist in Massachusetts and certified in both Shiatsu and Tui-Na Oriental massage traditions. I graduated from The New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), am a diplomat of the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists, North American Homeopathic Master’s Clinician Course, International Federation of Homeopathy, and NESA’s Herbal Medicine Program.
One of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture techniques I use in the clinic is a quick-pain release method that often is able to lessen or remove very sharp and limiting pain in a matter of minutes. Most patients are astonished at the relief that this acupuncture method can provide. It’s not uncommon for people to have walled off their lives and possibilities, especially with chronic pain. I witness the freedom and empowerment gained from natural remedies such as acupuncture and herbal medicine. Many chronic conditions respond to therapies which stimulate the body’s potential for healing. Our wellness clinic regularly treats patients with conditions such as infertility, anxiety, depression, severe menstrual irregularities, stress, back pain, migraine headaches, menopausal symptoms and wellness visits.
Patients who are improving start to make plans, think of job possibilities or business opportunities that they have not allowed themselves to consider. Freedom from a debilitating condition is also usually accompanied by a willingness to consider improving other areas of your health and well being. I hope your determination will be rewarded with the care that you receive in our wellness center. I am a champion for inspiration and look forward to working with you should the need arise.
